Call or visit your county, municipal, or township Building Inspector's office. We provide the required drawings. There's usually a nominal fee for permits.

For one thing, we have our own lumberyard, right here under the same roof as our One Day Garage headquarters. For another, we have our own staff of builders. We've developed the absolutely most efficient, least wasteful way to construct your garage or outdoor building – it's part of our family values and culture! We don't waste our time or your money looking for materials or workers.

Do the paperwork ahead of time: have a pretty clear idea of what kind of building you want and what you want it to do for you. Get the zoning permit. And be flexible to suggestions about design and materials. We'll save you money wherever we can!
